The simplest farewell. This involves transferring the person directly to the crematorium as soon as possible.
Kiwi Cremations provides a cost-effective cremation service. We are here to provide a high-quality service at an affordable price.
The service offered is a direct cremation, which means there are no relatives or friends present at the cremation. We take care of the deceased, perform the cremation, and the contracting funeral home will notify you when the ashes are ready for collection.
How to pay
Once you have engaged our services, we will send you an invoice with our payment details. Payment in full is required before the deceased can be uplifted and the cremation takes place.

What’s Included
The package includes:
- Care from our experienced Funeral Directors to organise the cremation – Usually Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
- Your loved one taken into our care
- The required mortuary care including dressing and placing into the casket
- Basic cremation casket
- Organising all paperwork including doctor’s certificate, medical referee, cremation papers, death certificate
- Transferring the deceased to the Crematorium
- Cremation fee
- Return of ashes
Additional charges may apply for:
- Services outside of normal business hours
- Newspaper Notices
- Any mileage outside of our 20km radius
- Providing an oversized casket
Total cost: $3,295
* The casket advertised is a basic cremation casket. Any changes to the above will incur extra charges.
